Safety Partnership With OSHA
In May 2003, the Builders Association and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) established a partnership to assist our Members in achieving, maintaining and strengthening their existing safety programs as well as an opportunity to be recognized for excellence in occupational safety and health training for their workers.
This partnership affords Builders Association members an alternative to traditional OSHA enforcement and promotes a safe and healthful work environment. Presently, there are three levels of status; click on the specific level for criteria and benefits:
Each year Partnership participants collectively boast a significantly lower TCIR than the national construction average while representing between 5 and 8 million hours worked.
Members of the Association may apply for inclusion in the partnership at anytime. For more information related to the Builders Association Safety Partnership with OSHA or learn more about what advantages it can bring to your company, please contact Stacey Kelly at 847-318-8585.
