Safety
The Builders Association has a long history of helping keep Chicagoland's construction workers safe on a jobsite. From its funding for the main award in the AGC's Annual Safety Contest in 1927 to its Safety Partnership with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration today, the Builders Association has always encouraged its companies to develop strong safety programs.
Since the inception of the Builders Association Safety Awards in 1999, over 50 different member companies have earned a total of 136 awards for their sterling safety programs. Also in that time frame, the AGC of America has recognized over 20 Builders Association companies for their excellence in safety.
