Operating Engineers Dispute Continues

Temporary heaters have become an issue, which is strange in summer months. The Builders Association has assisted five member companies that received notice of grievances by the Operating Engineers related to temp heater monitoring.

Historically, contractors have given the task to Laborers. This week, some contractors received notification from the Union that it plans to file for arbitration.
