Carpenter Training Center Open House and Health Fair

The Carpenter Training Center is opening its doors to all members, family and guests, contractors, and anyone interested in improving their carpentry skills to the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice and Training Program Open House & Health Fair on Saturday, June 7. New contractors can take part in the Apprentice and Training Program. Experienced journeymen members can learn new skills or enhance existing ones by participating in the Carpenter Skill Advancement Program.

Come and see displays by DeWalt, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Bosch/Skill, Ronco, Grainger, and Makita.  There will also be an appearance by Secretary of State Jesse White and a performance by the Jesse White Tumblers.

The Health Fair runs from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. There will be Cholesterol Screening and Blood Pressure Testing for eligible members only, as well as other vendors within the Blue Cross/Blue Shield network.  

Milwaukee Tools Certified Technicians will be on-site to give a free tune up “Brushes/Grease” strictly for Milwaukee Power Tools at the Open House.

Free refreshments will be available. Raffles and door prizes will be given throughout the day.
