Association Announces Safety Award Winners
Best of Class honors were awarded to W.B. Olson, Airtite Contractors and Frank H. Stowell & Sons when winners of 2007 Builders Association Safety Awards were announced this week.
The Best of Class Award was the second in a row for Airtite, which was named best among companies with over 250,000 hours. W.B. Olson was Best of Class for 75,000-250,000 hours and won for Best Performance Improvement, while Frank H. Stowell's safety program had the top score for contractors with under 75,000 hours. This is the first Best of Class Award for both W.B. Olson and Frank H. Stowell.

The Builders Association Safety Awards were instituted in 1999 with the goal of honoring companies who develop and maintain strong safety programs. Awards will be presented at the Spring Meeting May 6 at the Hyatt Rosemont, before a keynote address on sustainable construction by Hoffman Corporation CEO Paul Hoffman.
