Serving the Chicagoland Commercial Construction Industry

The Builders Association has served as a resource for Chicagoland’s construction industry firms since 1906, and has done so as a chapter of the AGC of America since 1918. The AGC is the nation’s largest and most effective voice for construction firms in the nation. Being an AGC member offers contractors and service providers a myriad of benefits and resources, in addition to the Builders Association’s resources in labor, safety, education, government relations and more.

Prepare to STAND DOWN for Safety

Plan to demonstrate your firm’s commitment to safety and the well-being of your workforce by registering for our third annual Chicagoland commercial construction industry’s SAFETY STAND DOWN to be held at jobsites throughout the area on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.  Our first two Stand Downs focused on Fall Protection; this year’s event will center on the importance of Planning for Safety.  Research shows that projects employing pre-task planning throughout the entire construction process realize better safety records.  Using pre-task planning brings the entire crew into the decision-making process that directly impacts their own safety performances …thereby making the jobsite a much safer place.
